The stories in I’m a Registered Nurse Not a Whore deal with the haunting thoughts that keep me up at night. Worrying thoughts about big things like oil spills, toxic waste and greed. And little things, like a badly written email or a careless action that inadvertently hurts someone. And the fine line so many of us live between functioning and not, between surviving and derailing, between joy and rage.
